"Music for the Heart:Third Annual Jazz Concert"

Center in the Park presents, "Music from the Heart" the third annual jazz concert on Saturday, September 25th, 2010, 7:00 p.m, at the Loeb Auditorium, Germantown Friends School on Greene Street and Schoolhouse Lane.
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door.

Central Senior Services at the Parkway Central Library

On August 26th, the Philadelphia Free Library is opening a new department geared for mature adults at its Parkway Central Library. Central Senior Services will feature magazines, newspapers, large print materials and computers. The center also will host speakers representing a wide range of topics.
Hours of Operation will be weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
